New Character.wz optional

Please download and install the follow character.wz it's easy as 1, 2, 3 =]

Installation Steps:

Step 1 - Download the files from the link above

Step 2 - Right Click the winrar file after it is done downloading and extract here

Step 3- Open up your maplestory v62 folder and drag the new character.wz file that you extracted into the v62 folder and replace old one that already existed in there.

P.S - Also if you need or don't have win-rar (extract program) you may downloadload it at http://win-rar.com

what do you mean extract...

cause im not getting a zipped folder when i download that link...

all i get is a .rar file and im not sure if that can be extracted..

help for us technically retarded?

Yes .rar file is extractable you need to download and install winrar from http://win-rar.com

you have to download the win rar program and then when you finish you can probably see the files icon has changed and you can open it now
and then just open the first folder by double clicking it and you will see he char.wz folder jus click and drag that into the maplestory v.62 folder your have open and drop it in there it will probably say would you like to replace the exisiting file then jus say yes and ur all good

If you put the client (ScarfaceMS) into the maplestory v62 folder, there will be two launchers. Which launcher do i use?

I am able to execute the game, but when I double click my character, I immediately disconnect.

Try different channels if not try to make new character or possibly account and test if you can log through successfuly.

Tony why dont you just add this to the game client so when ppl download the game the get the character wz too. that way thay dont have to download two things and have a smaller chance of messing up.

I've made a new account and character, but the same thing happens. I've also tried all the channels.
I think it's because I patched the same maplestory folder with another maplestory PS, so i'll install another
maplestory folder and do it again. I'll tell you if I can play.
